Missionaries

For many years, DCF has supported the mission of God as it reaches across the street and around the world with the message of Jesus' saving love. Last year alone, over $30,000 was given for the support of Christian missionaries far and wide.

Local Ministries

Supported through our financial gifts, prayers and volunteer efforts

Community Assistance Program (CAP):
Community Assistance Program (CAP):

Since 1975 CAP has provided help to the needy in the Detroit area. Director Josephine Collins shares the love of Christ with those who come to her office in the Nardin Park Community Church (5027 W. Boston, Detroit). Much of this love is in the form of food, clothing, and counseling. Twice a month, donated goods from DCF members and friends are brought to CAP for distribution.

Arab-American Friendship Center (AAFC):
Arab-American Friendship Center (AAFC):

In 1990, DCF leaders expressed a desire to reach out to the Arab community in Dearborn. This ministry became the Arab American Friendship Center, now directed by Rev. Basem Qusous. With a mission theme of “love them so they ask why,” volunteers show Christ’s love by teaching English as a second language, citizenship classes, and computer literacy. ‘Friday Evening Fellowship’ introduces Arab immigrants to Christ’s message of salvation through Christian songs and prayer and gives area churches an opportunity to participate. Today, more than 20 churches support the AAFC and over 320 people are regularly being served through this ministry.
