Vision 2010
We believe God wants DCF to be a missional (“sent on a mission”), Christ-centered community where lives are changing through the expression of God's love and the embodiment of His truth. He is calling us to focus our efforts on reaching residents of Dearborn and its surrounding neighborhoods who do not regularly attend church. We desire to be both attractional ("Come and see") and incarnational (“Go and serve”) in our approach.
To fulfill this mission, we will offer seeker-sensitive Sunday morning worship services, small group ministry, and spiritual gift mobilization. By the year 2010, we envision half-time staff persons for all five purposes, a dynamic youth program, and the upgrading of several key areas of our facility.
In addition, we will implement a three-year strategic plan focusing the “3 R's" of a Biblically functioning church.
